There is a dog barking. He's out all night and no matter what time it is when I wake, 12, 1, 2, 3 -- he's barking. And it's too cold for him to be out there.
I am going to find him and report the owner to the cops. Not only is it cruel to keep him outside, it's against the law, thank the Gods. I am not looking forward to going out in the middle of the night, chasing barks, but I have to do it.
No, we can't save everyone/everything, but we have the obligation to at least try when they are in our sphere of influence.
Part of me doesn't want to do anything because what if the owner decides to dump him or put him down rather than let him inside? But what then? Just leave him to freeze and suffer?
