Voting notices

The little postcard telling me that voting day is coming soon arrived today.

I was glad when Obama was elected. But just because I like him doesn't mean I expect the Washington shit machine to change. The majority of politicians are dedicated not to public service but to maintaining the status quo. Their jobs. Their salaries. Their position. Their -- everything.

SOS.

Same old shit.

Too much of the sos for a good man to be able to plow through in four, or eight, years.

I'll still vote. I stand by the credo that if you don't vote, you can't bitch. But most of the time I'm not voting for, I'm voting against. That kind of makes you lose heart.
