yuck

I made fried eggplant last night. Didn't work. Looked okay but a definite yuck. I'm going to try it at a restaurant sometime, see if I like it there. Maybe I just did it wrong. I don't like to give up on it. I'll try eggplant parmesan in a few weeks. I'm pretty sure I liked that at some point in there past. Of course, how hard is it to like something covered with spaghetti sauce and three kinds of cheese?

Oh, Rob is going to be giving me some of his garden tomatoes this weekend and I'm going to make some slow cooker spaghetti sauce. Will freeze some of it for use this winter, 'cause it's too hot to use it most of the time right now. Should be fun. Just need to find a good recipe.
