Okay, that's it

I am done with him. I like the Legend of the Seeker series, okay, ONLY because the main guy is such a cutie. But I absolutely cannot read any more of the books. I've given it my best shot, I already read TWO of them. But my god, I am done with it. Halfway through the third book, my bolt is shot. Aaaarrrrggghhhh!

I don't object to killing. Or objectification. Or trivial subjects. Or hackneyed plot lines. At least, not too much. If it's done WELL. But there is only so much bad writing I can put up with. It puts my teeth on edge. And this guy, christ, can't even remember his name right now, hold on, Terry Goodkind, that's it, yuck, that's it, it's over.

Each time I come across it in the book, I try to pass over it, get on with the story, but it's just too much. I'm not going to try to explain each episode here, although I'm dying to rant on for a few more minutes. Suffice it to say the guy is the KING OF OBVIOUS, OVERSTATEMENT and HAS NO SUBTLETY WHATSOEVER!
