I'm a little nervous

It's been raining, as far as I can tell, most of the night, that steady kind of rain that fills up the creeks when you're not paying attention. There's a little bit of water come into the basement, one of the windows leaking, but luckily it's going right down the drain in the floor.

I'm going to go out when it's light, check out how high it's risen. It's supposed to rain today as well. If the creek is high, I'm not going to work. I can' risk the house flooding when I'm not here.
